Monae Amour: Standing for Justice and Empowerment
Monae Amour Designs proudly partnered with Jamorra Signatures to amplify our voices and demand justice for the unspeakable wrongs I endured in 2015—sexual assault, kidnapping, and being drugged at the hands of the Attorney General, facilitated by the New York Public Advocate's office at the time. Together, my daughter and I channeled our pain into purpose, protesting through powerful TikToks and the premiere of my Off-Broadway play, The Christmas Party.
This chapter in our lives is not one of defeat but a testament to God’s power to transform trauma into triumph. In Jesus' name, we are breaking the chains of silence and fear. We know so many women and men live under the shadow of their abusers, but we will not!
At Monae Amour, we stand firmly against sexual assault, abuse, and corruption in government. Our mission is to encourage and inspire others to rise above, and we invite you to join us in this fight through the Angels for Angels movement.
The journey doesn’t end here—The Christmas Party is coming back to the stage this June as part of the NY Theatre Summer Fest. Let this story be a rallying cry for justice and hope, proving that together, we can shatter cycles of abuse and stand tall in the light of truth and empowerment.
